Positivity Pebbles

This group of Laurel Heights Secondary School students decided to recreate The Kindness Rock project to help bring their school community together through sharing kind words and affirmations. At LHSS's recent Nuit Blanche event, Positivity Pebbles launched their project by setting up a cozy creative space in the library for guests to stop by and contribute to.

"We feel as though in the world we live in negativity is easily pushed around. Kindness is easy to spread and by giving people a direct way to make someone's day we can work towards making our school community feel as though someone out there does care."

For now the rock garden will live in the library but the students are hoping that when the weather warms up, the rocks can be arranged outside the school for the community around them to experience as well.
